Making career in IT — 2

In the earlier Part 1, we looked at various career choices within the IT sector. Whatever be your choice, there are some fundamental skills that everyone working in Information Technology should possess, in my humble opinion.

I have not only learned it the hard way, but as I became older, came across too many young IT guys that don’t understand the basics. They are no different from the end users they are supposed to advise!

These people eventually get stuck in paper pushing jobs and may find their career choices restricted. Unless they have other skills, such as…
